How To Use Sleeve

WARNING! Do not overheat as there is risk of fire! Always watch closely. Staying near the microwave during heating is recommended. Heating times are approximate. Microwaves will vary. Do not heat in conventional oven or stove top. If a minor is using or heating sleeve, it is recommended to have adult supervision. Microwaves have different power levels ranging from 500-1650 Watts! Refer to your owner manual to find out your microwaves power level! See below for time instructions.

Warming Your Sleeve: Place Kapchair sleeve in the CENTER of the microwave on a rotating tray so that it does not touch the microwave wall and it can rotate during warming. NOTE: if your microwave does not have a rotating tray, then stop half way through microwaving, shake the pouch, reposition and continue heating. Microwaves have different power levels ranging from 500-1650 Watts! Refer to your owner manual to find out your microwaves power level! See below for time instructions.

WARNING! If popping sound occurs, stop microwave immediately as the flaxseeds may be overheating. If oil has gotten on sleeve, open the sleeve sections and throw away the flaxseeds, wash the sleeve and refill the sleeve sections with the new flaxseeds.

CAUTION:

GRAB THE SLEEVE BY ITS HANDLE OUT THE MICROWAVE TO AVOID BURNS AS THE POUCH WILL BE HOT TO TOUCH!

FOR SLEEVE: WIPE YOUR OIL BOTTLE WITH A TOWEL OR PAPER TOWEL BEFORE PLACING IN POUCH SO THAT OILS ON THE BOTTLE DO NOT GET ON POUCH! If oil gets on pouch, refer to sleeve care. Place sleeve on counter or table standing upright and place bottle immediately into the sleeve (see how to video for visual). Let the bottle with oils sit in pouch for 1-2 minutes to let the oils warm-up. Do a touch test when ready for use. Use less microwave time when reheating already warm sleeve/pouches.

Power Levels

Approximate Time in Microwave

Below 850 Watts

Power Level MUST be RAISED accordingly to the correct wattage levels

850-1100 Watts

Heat for 40 seconds, check before reheating and if additional heat is needed heat in 10 second intervals until desired heat level is achieved. DO NOT exceed a combined total of 1 min, from start to finish.

Above 1100 Watts

Power Level MUST be LOWERED accordingly to the correct wattage levels

*Flaxseed and herbs are natural materials that can burn when overheated. If you overheat a flaxseed pouch, it could result in burned flax seeds, damage to the fabric, or fire. Keep your pouch clean to avoid creating hot spots that could lead to burning in the microwave
